For its 2019th edition, Partners in Excellent featured a new session which is one of its kind in the whole industry. It is called: Deal or No Deal. In accordance to Z-Empire’s vision: From the industry for the industry and Marketing Equals Sales, Deal or No Deal session is a fun and unique way to do business and to get more exposure in the industry. It was broadcasted live on Z-Empire official Youtube channel and hosted by Agne Caune and Jonathan Afrman.
Rules are simple: 5 rounds, 3 offers and 6 participants in each round. Only the sponsors have the opportunity to offer their stocks. Stocks that should be physical and moved to a neutral logistic company who makes the inspection prior to the payment in case the deal is closed. Prices are non-negotiable.
The 6 participants have one buzzer each and 1 minute to decide, after the offer is announced and shown on the screen, whether to take it or not by following the principle of first comes first served. In case the none of the participants bought the stock, then the offer is transferred to the audience through a WhatsApp group chat where they can contact the admin in order to proceed with the offer, following the same rule of first comes first served.
The session was entertaining and enjoyable. Deals were diverse and included different types of products and brands from different markets (High end phones, CPOs, Low end phones, Tablets…). Also full of suspense and surprises, as some deals were closed right after the timer begun and others on the last second. This created a sane competitive atmosphere and drew attention of the audience who kept increasing throughout the whole session.
This first edition Deal or No Deal session was a success as it fulfilled the vision of Z-Empire. Out of the 15 deals, 9 were closed on stage, 3 by the audience on WhatsApp group chat and only 3 No -Deals. All the sponsors who took part of Deal or No Deal session, closed at least one deal either as a buyer or a seller, and sometimes as both. Therefore, the value and potential of such innovative concept is undeniable. It is putting together in an efficient and beneficial way, the best of the 2 worlds: entertainment and business.
It is obvious that the Deal or no Deal session will make a comeback in the next Partners In Excellence 2020 event, with improvements, new ideas and it will be on the image of the event: Bigger, stronger and more successful.
