IFA 2019 will be held in Berlin from 6-11 September. These are the dates that the show is open to the public at Messe Berlin.

However, the press day – when information about new products is released – fall on the days before, with Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 September the big days that announcements are expected. In some cases, manufacturers release information in the weeks before the show, before revealing those new products to the public.

In the mobility sector, we are expecting some new products to be shown from some brands such as Huawei who is having a very agitated year due to US trading ban, Sony who’s trying to save its mobile division and is used to announce new phones during IFA, and of course the Chinese brands which are showcasing many upcoming innovations and features.

Due to Cebit cancellation for this year, it is expected that IFA 2019 will score a higher number of visitors than usual. Wait and see.
